The Year of the Horse!

London's celebration of Chinese New Year started on Sunday morning with a parade.  We got out and caught an early train into town.

This train had tables!  And outlets!  Too bad we didn't have anything to make the most of those things....

Trafalgar Square was transformed!

We lined up for the parade.  It was *really* crowded.

It was a short parade, so off we went to explore.

But first, buying firecrackers to toss at Monmy's feet....

Then on towards Chinatown proper with a stop at a little carnival vendor on the way.

After lunch we headed back towards home, tired out, but happy.
