We knew it's been raining far more than usual (double the normal rainfall for both December and January!), but we didn't expect just HOW under water it would be. The white bits sticking out to Ryan and Katy's left? I have pictures of Ryan standing on the dock they're attached to a few weeks ago.
We usually let the dogs run free in this field. It's a small lake today....
The water was rushing (and not slowly) over the paved path....
Katy opted for a lift on the way back....
We finally admitted defeat and headed toward home.
