In the middle of the summer of 2013 we found out that the White family was moving to London!

This is how Pickles felt about it:  Determined to hold everything down and in the same place with the weight of her tiny body.

The rest of us?  Well, the word excited falls far short.  Due to the timing of the move, we elected to home school Katy for the semester to make the transition easier.  We put the house on the market the first week of September - and it sold within 36 hours!  So, we had to quickly say goodbye to our beloved Colorado home....

We lived in the empty house for several weeks (it takes 2-3 months for belongings to be shipped to the UK, so it made sense to send them quickly)

One last glorious sunrise and it was time to truly say goodbye and move over to the hotel.
