Natural History Museum

We decided to head out to check out the Natural History Museum.  It was a truly "typical" miserable, rainy day here.  Unfortunately, everyone else had the same idea as us, so the line was LONG to get in.

As we waited:

By the time we got to the front (20ish minutes in wind and driving drizzle) the line looking behind us was even longer than when we walked up!

At last we got in.  The building is absolutely gorgeous.

We grabbed some lunch in the cafe - again, beautiful...

The museum itself was very nice.  Katy had stayed up late for New Years, so wore out quickly, and we didn't see it all.
